Default No Fuel

Can a bad fuel pump cause the gauge not to read? I filled up the car last night and this morning it wouldn't start. Never had an issue with fuel before but i recently replaced the coil pack and wires. when i turn the key on the pump doesn't cut on but the fuel gauge doesn't read either, i replaced the fuel relay and couldn't find a fuel fuse, any thoughts? It's a 02' dodge neon by the way

No, a bad gauge sender will cause the gauge not to work. A bad fuel pump will cause no fuel to get to the engine. Does anything else on/in the car come on with the ignition, or is the whole car "dead?"

first check fuses and relays (fuel pump and ASD) if juice is present then
check wiring to the fuel pump, and level gauge (under the car)

im guessing since u lost gauge AND fuel pump at the same time id suspect poor connection to the whole fuel assembly cuz if the relays go the pump may not work but the gauge still should
