My 2000 neon will stall at exits/intersections after driving*about 30km and Oil light on the dash will come on. The engine can restarts only after shutting off for a while.*

It won't do this on me in the morning on my way to work but will in the afternoon on the way home.

Any comments?

does the oil light come on before after it stalls? are you getting the car hot? check engine light?

 

The engine stalls first and then oil light comes on. It always stalls after running about 30km, so the car is hot when the engine cuts off.

IIRC, the oil light will come on if the engine stalls, as there is no longer oil pressure (obviously).

 

this is all too vague right now , more information is needed , best left to someone with a code scanner to check for pending codes even if the MIL is not on and to perform a proper diag procedure.
