help with cel.

Ok im having a brain fart, should the cel. stay on w/o the car running???? When i turn the ign. w/o starting all the lights do come, just the cel doesnt go off until i start it up.....2005 neon non turbo.....

It's normal. It's like a system check of sorts.

it should come on for a few seconds to do a bulb check then it should go out

Go turn the key to ON in your ignition and watch what happens when you leave it there. It'll stay on and chime once.
