Default Motor Mount & Exhaust Leak

I have a 2005 Neon 2.0 stock. I know I have an exhaust leak and think it may be caused by bad motor mounts but there in lies the question. When I put the car in gear I can hear the leak so I had my wife put the car in gear while I was under the hood and noticed right off of the manifold where the cat connects that it flexs and tada my exhaust leak literally opens up. I was wondering if this flex in the motor could be caused by bad motor mounts or if moreover it could be fixed with new mounts. The motor flexes DOWN in the back as if it was trying to push the manifold into the ground.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

If the engine rocks, it is possible the torque struts (that are there to prevent the rocking) are bad. You can just look at them and see if they are torn, etc.
