never tinted a car before, (personally, or had done by a pro), wondering what i might be looking at $$wise ( general ballpark), been meaning to do this since i bought the car (feb'10), but just haven't gotten to it....

if the sites i read are correct, the laws here in Ohio require >50% Visibility on the Front seat windows, and no limit on back seat & Rear Windscreen.

anyone who's had their neon tinted, feel free to chime in.

 

Well shop around ill tell you that much I had my neon and matrix tinted for a 150 bucks after shopping around awhile and that was full tint on both rigs, with my truck I didn't shop around and just got the tint from the same place that did the audio setup, the sound system I got was a good deal but they charged me 165 for the tint.

So you should be able to get your car done for 80-125 prices very depending on what brand of tint you go, I went with 3M on all my rigs a bit more money but its a better product that will last longer then other brands.

Pricing is going to vary by place and type of tint used. Llumar and SunTek are the only two brands I will put on any of my cars, and what a lot of tint shops out here recommend. There are of course, varying levels of quality just like every other brand too.

 

I was quoted 130 for solar guard tint all around including the headder, it will not turn purple and has a lifetime guarentee.

 

I tinted all windows but the front and put a strip on the top of the front windshield for $200. You can find places that will do it for a little less but I wouldn't pay over $200.
