Question A/C Condenser and bumper cover removal.

I was wondering if I needed to remove the bumper cover to R&R the A/C condenser. If I don't have to, would it make the job a lot easier?

Removing the bumper cover isn't that hard. It took me about 30 minutes with no instructions. 3 screws in each wheel well (the most time consuming part of this process), remove the headlights and sidemarkers and the 4 screws on top and it should come off IIRC.

On the screws on the inside of the wheel wells .... cut your wheels it'll give you more room to fit a cordless screw driver ...

I'm just wondering if removing the bumper cover is necessary to replace the condenser.

probably not necessary, but I'm sure it will be easier.

yeah i did that and when i tried taking off the discharge hose, the bolt head broke off. apparently the bolt decided to fuse with the line so i have to get a new one... not too happy about that
