How much stuff do you carry in your car? Extra weight like tools, speakerbox with subs that have huge 30 lb mags, big amps, gallon of oil, gallon of antifreeze.... I was carrying all this in mine it was like 2 extra people with me.... took all that out an mpg was night an day better + acceleration. But keepin everything else in tune & not in a big rush to get there is the key to best mpg I've learned

How fast are you driving down the highway? Are you keeping a constant speed? What is your tire pressure set at? Is your car in alignment? There's more to good gas mileage than a properly maintained car. In my Mustang (my DD now since the Neon went bye-bye), I can average between 8 and 25-ish MPG depending on how and where I'm driving. Currently, I average roughly 19MPG up here in the mountains with my V8 as opposed to the ~22-23MPG I got in my 4-cyl Neon. We bought a new 2012 Ford Fusion with the 3.0L V6 and average 24-25MPG up here. Yes, a V6 gets better gas mileage up here than my Neon did (both of them that we own do, actually). If a small engine has to struggle, it's going to burn more fuel despite being a smaller car/engine.

Well 72 mph 27 miles each way to work and only 1200ft above sea level 32 psi plus, but what I'm trying to find for cheep is a functional cat somone took off and a 2001-3 fuel rail with a schrader valve and possible use injectors to clean, think I av one stuck, I've only been in this area 3 yrs and haven't found anyone who does bench cleaning yet.
