Default Looking at a 2001 ES

What should I be looking for in terms of mistreatment, poor maintenance, etc?

It has 80,000 miles on it, color is white. I haven't seen it yet, listed for under $4,000.

It would be a starting car for my daughter (who is 5'11"). Will she fit comfortably?

I can do the simple things, shocks, brakes, fuel filter, sparkplugs, etc. Can't (or don't want to) do heavy emgine repairs.

Any hints appreciated.

Hey, as for maintenance, ask the seller if you can take it to a shop and have them check it out quick. Never hurts to ask, and that way the shop guys should know just what to trouble shoot for and be able to tell ya if anything is wrong with it. As for comfort, I have an 01acr and Im 6'1". I fit no problem, and its plenty comfortable. Hope everything goes good!!!!

I just got my 2001 ES and it has plenty of room, of course im saying this after owning a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The first thing i noticed was how much more room and how much more comfortable this thing is, i could drive across the country in this thing.
