i ordered these from mopar i was wondering if anyone has them and if it is easy to put them on

 

Im not sure if first and second generations are the same but on my 2003 all I did was pull the lining in the trunk away from the lights. This exposed 3 plastic covers, I used a ratchet to take them off then pulled out the light bulbs. After that the lights just slid out. Installation is the reverse.

I did mine the other day....right side was a cake-walk, the drivers side wasn't so fun because i have the kicker sub back there.
