Default Pacesetter Header & Exhaust?

So for the spring project for my car includes getting new headers and exhaust. Is Pacesetter the way to go with this? Or is there better systems to look into.. all together itll run about 500$ for both.. Which is pricey to me but i dont mind it for my car.. So is it a good investment or is there a place to buy it cheaper. Im on modern performance for the exhaust and autoanything for the headers. So whats you guys opinion..?
Thanks!

From research I have done pace setter headers perform actually a tad worse than the stock R/T header, however they do offer ceramic coated.

You will get far more HP/torque gains from a long header tube header design. Up to around 8-10 versus 2-4 with a pace setter.

As far as the exhaust it's the only aftermarket that I know of that offers 2.50 piping which is the optimal max you want to run on a 2.0 sohc.

From what I have heard many are dissapointed with the tone of the muffler however.

Me personally I would buy for the piping, rip the muffler off and run a race delta flow series flowmaster with 2.5" center in center out. However at that point I'd just have custom piping done from headers to muffler.

Some post around here makes rather large claims that the magnaflow gives up to a 10HP boost however I think those claims might be a tad biased seeing as magnaflow uses 2.25" tubing.

If you want the cheapest way out do this.

Option headers $110 Cat delete included

Option cat back Exhaust
$145

Then add one of these to cat delete pipe to avoid triggering your CEL.

Hope this helps.

Or instead of spending $26 on one of those, go buy a $2 anti-fouling piece intended for spark plugs. That's all that second kit is.
