You can swap in a tach-cluster, but you will lose your mileage. The best way to do it IMO would be to buy one with more mileage than yours, and swap it at the appropriate time.

Did the swap on the instrument cluster today. Tach works and the white looks nice. I couldnt find anything near my mileage but not a big deal since I plan on keeping the car for ever and passing it down to my son. Oh and now I have a gas light

When my thermostat stayed open it would cause the air to be cold because the coolant wasn't staying in the engine long enough to get hot.. if it's stuck close then your car would be over heating.
