Changing front door speakers / how to remove door panel

2001 dodge se (manual window / mirror)
I found these sizes for the speakers that are stock in the neon but, I wanted to ask you guys if these are correct.
  • Front: 3-1/2", 6-3/4"
  • Rear: 6" x 9"
  • Dash: 3-1/2"
  • Front door: 6-3/4"
  • Rear deck: 6" x 9"
1 - Are the sizes correct?

I thought that my neon (basic) had only speakers in the front door and far rear (above trunk.)
2 - Am i correct?

The rear speakers so ok but, the front doors speakers especially the front left is muffled / rattle when any good bass plays.

3 - If those sizes are correct is there anyway to fit the rear 6x9s in the door and put my better 6x9s in the rear?

4 - How do I remove the door panel?
On my previous car the door panel / clips just popped out when I wedged a screw driver behind it and pulled back.

Thank you

My 2000 SE has speakers in the dash so I'm sure yours does too. The mounting holes for the doors are round, 6x9's are ovals. There's a couple screws and probably some clips to take off the door panel. Haven't done it on this car yet. The sizes do sound correct from what I've seen. To take the dash off you have to take off the 2 pillars on either side of it (they just clip in place), a screw on either side near the door jamb(phillips head), and pop it up. Pretty easy to do.

You need a window crank handle remover tool. Very handy and inexpensive. One screw behind a little flip cover behind the interior door handle. One screw under a pop-out plug in the arm rest cubby thing. Slowly pull around the perimeter of the panel and it will pop off. It's easy. You just have to figure it out the first time, then it'll be like riding a bike.

If you don't have power locks/windows, you don't need to remove the part that has the switches.

Crutchfield shows 26 different speakers that'll fit the front door.
