Default OBD Code Question

Got a few trouble codes coming up. Have a cam sensor, crank sensor, and low idle circuit. I replaced the cam sensor and I still have the same codes popping off. I erased the codes out after I replaced the sensor. Now, can the crank sensor still pop a cam sensor codes along with it? Does the idle control valve pop these 2 codes when it has a problem??? Idles like crap. Goes down to 500rpm and then back up to 1500rpm. Like to get the idle smoothed out but I want to make sure I fix what actually needs replaced. Any help???

What are the actual codes? Did you replace the sensors with factory ones or aftermarket ones? Sensor wiring is all good (you have to really check, as the wiring is in bad spots, hence why Dodge sells sensor rewiring kits for those sensors)? No vacuum leaks?

These are the codes that were coming up. The camshaft sensor was replaced with one from advance auto parts. Wiring looked good and the connectors were clean. Vacuum lines look good but there is one tube that looks like a 1/2" on the back of the valve cover that goes to nothing. Thats the only thing that looks out of place. This also has a cold air intake on it too.

P0016 Crankshaft/Camshaft Timing Misalignment
P0073 Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit High
P0340 No Cam Reference Signal at PCM
P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent
P0508 IAC Valve Sense Circuit Low

That first code is probably causing most of the issues.

Possible causes include:
Intermittent condition
Checking intermittent CMP signal with lab
CMP wire harness inspection
Tone wheel/pulse ring inspection
CKP wire harness inspection
Tone wheel/pulse ring inspection
Intermittent CKP signal
Camshaft position sensor
Crankshaft position sensor

The fact that there are problems with other circuits, I'd start looking the wiring/harness over carefully to begin with. If you replace the sensors, but the wiring is bad, you'll still have the problem.

Any specific areas in the wiring I should concentrate? Any areas that are known for problems?
