Radiator fan problem 2003 SXT
Car overheated for my daughter.
I suspect a Radiator fan problem.
These 2003 seem to have a single fan relay, two fans wired together (meaning they should both come on/off at the same time.
The connector at the fans also seems to have aluminum fins making it some sort of controller. IS that right?
When I jumper the relay (as I would for an older model Chrysler product), I expected to get the fans running, but they didn't.
So, on the 2003 SXT;
The computer turns the relay on right?
On a cold day, around 45 degrees this AM, how do I hot wire the fans?

If the thermostat isn't working properly it can affect the fans I believe and so does the coolant temp sensor. As far as hot wiring them, I've done it with a horn before where I ran wiring to the horn, battery, and a switch.
