anyone have some advice before i go through with this engine swap tomorrow. Im just a home mechanic and have only replaced an engine once and that was in my 90's k1500. i have the alldata replacement info from my collision school, but they want to take the motor out from the bottom while still atached to the tranny. it seems more practical and easier to lift it out the top without the trans. does this sound as easy as it does to me or am i way in over my head?
