Hey there, I am new on here and am not exactly mechanically inclined. The car has about 89,000 miles on it and when I am going through town every little bump I hit is sounds like the struts are stiff as a bored, do they need to be replaced? possibly with a quick strut? or is it something else, maybe a little cheaper? I have talked to a couple mechanics and they said it might be the bearing on top, just looking for some advice, thanks!

 

-Might be the lower control arm bushings. Mine went out somewhere in that mileage range. They made a bunch of creaking and thumping when going over bumps. Especially in and out of parking lots. I replaced mine with Prothane urethane bushings and haven't had any issues since.

yeah sounds about right, parking lots and rough streets, going down the highway is just fine, thanks, also how big of pain are they to change? epensive?
