So, is it just me, or is the thin black cloth upholstry one of the worst seat coverings you have ever seen? The driver seat back near the B pillar tore out at the seams at 90,000 miles, I sewed it up, and gave up on it at 170,000 miles. Got a seat from the J/Y with the fuzzy texture grey/purple fabric, and it had 120,000 miles and a cigarette burn on it before I put it in. That seat now has a combined 280,000 miles on it, and is just starting to show wear now. I tried having the stains from the dog cleaned out of the passenger and back seat, they got them to fade, but cannot get them completely out. Don't really care, because the car will never be resold, but this stuff is crap. The back seat is pulling apart where the raised middle seat cushion is at the front edge. The only one back there is the dog, and that is not really that often. Is everyone elses this bad, or do I just have a bad set of seat coverings?

 

The material sucks.
