I have no idea what just happened. My GF borrowed the Neon this morning, got back and now the speedometer and fuel gauge are broken. The speedometer is at 0 and the fuel gauge which should have been at 3/4 is showing past full. I'm guessing broken solder connections or something. Any thoughts? I swear I'm about ready to push this pile off a cliff. Could it be a fuse?

 

Just in case anyone else has this problem, I resolved the issue by doing a rest. Pushed in the trip button for a few seconds, turned the ignition to run (not start) and then released the button. Bang, gauges reset and have functioned as usual since.

 

Mine did that twice in the last year, I went as far as getting a gauge cluster from the J/Y, and it must have been enough of a threat, as it hasn't acted up since. I didn't do a reset, it just started working after a while.
