Default PCV Valve won't stay in

OK, my PCV valve will not screw into the valve cover all the way, in fact, the part it screws into comes out of the valve cover. Has anyone else had this issue? I've been driving it without fixing it for some time, so it's not affecting anything. I was thinking of JB welding the PCV valve holder into the valve cover but that's too redneck special. I was also thinking of just buying a new valve cover off eBay or something and replacing it along with the gasket and PCV valve. Thoughts?

I attached a picture in case I wasn't descriptive enough. :P

That can happen when the PCV valve is overtightened. I'd just pick up a valve cover and replace it. It's simple enough
