2000 neon tranmission ???
i got a 2000 dodge neon. it has the gay *** 3 speed automatic, can i put a 4 speed automatic tranny from a newer generation neon or do i have to swap out the engine from one as well....?

The 3-speeds have less problems than the 4-speeds. To do the swap, you'd need the transmission, sensors, harnesses and the computer that you will also have reprogrammed at the dealer. It really isn't worth the hassle.
