anybody happen to know if an srt-4 engine will work in a 2005 sxt?

can the mounts handle the additional hp?
will it fit?
would it just be btr to get a turbo for my sxt an wait to get the entire srt-4 later?
if it would work where could i find an SRT-4 engine for sale? (thats not 1/2 the cost of an SRT-4 :-P)

 

you would have to get the motor and trans as an assembly and get all the mount for the srt 4 all of it is different aswell as the pcm.

 

Everybody says just go for a turbo kit, and then save up for an actual srt4, but I think a swap would be super sweet. Youd be gettin around the same HP, but depending on the milage of your car u might be better doin a swap. Me personally I dont wanna put a turbo on my car cuz Im pushin around 70K miles. Id think a swap with 35k on the engine/tranny would be worth alittle extra cash for me. Thats just my opinion on it. but if your car is still low on miles, Id say screw it and just go with a good kit.
