hello i just bought a 2001 neon with the 4 banger in it.i drove it about 80 miles today with out any issues.parked it for about an hour and had to go some where.got about 1 mile and i lost all power if i give it any throttle,it will idle fine just has no power.if i shut it off and try it again it will go about another mile thn do it again. i did the key trick and pulled two codes p1684 and p0171 .help please

 

P1684 = Battery Disconnected Within Last 50 Starts check the grounds, make sure they are grounded good (clean them too)

P0171 is Fuel Injection System Too Lean. on mine it was 02 sensor
