Can't really see anything. Is there a problem with the transmission that is making you worry about it?

I would change the transmission fluid and filter, just to be safe. If the problem persists you should take it to a shop.

Make sure when you drain it, you drain ALL of it, and if money is no object, go with Royal Purple transmission fluid. It's magic.

What makes it "magic?" Still have to change the filter every 30,000. It's not like synthetic engine oil where you can change the filter 1/2 way thru and run the oil for an extended time. I've been running Dodge dealer Mopar +4 ATF for the last 256,000 miles. Only time I had any problems was before I was doing the servicing on all of our vehicles, 92,000 miles and the shop dumped in DEX 3- Trans got pulled and rebuilt 2 weeks later, and has gone 150,000+ since. Change it every 30,000 or less with +4 and it'll last a long time. Mine still shifts nice and firm, and fluid and pan are clean at change time.

By "magic", I meant it's awesome. I put it in my 2000 Neon MTX and I noticed a smoother, quicker shift. I don't change my transmission fluid in my manual transaxle but once a year. From what I'm getting from Darth, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Just change the transmission fluid again and see if the white clumps appear again, and if they do, take it to the dealer.

If the transmission fluid hasn't been changed in the past 30-45,000 miles, an oil and filter change wouldn't be a bad thing either way. NAPA ATF+4 is relabled Valvoline ATF+4, and is the cheapest ATF+4 I found locally.
