Default Issues on my 2001 neon R/T

Hi Guys,

My neon has been acting up recently, on my way to work she just died, iratic idle on start up followed by stalling.

Got the following codes P0340,0320,1391. Changed the crank sensor, cam sensor checked the wiring all looked good & in check.
Started the car she idled (yay) but only for 10 min, was burning very rich, car stalled again. No error codes come except the battery disconnected one (16something )

there is fuel coming to the rail & the relay is fine.

Could it be spark plugs and/or leads/coilpack? I fitted new NKG items about 3 months ago, should I replace with the OE champion items?

Regards,
Naku

Did you clear the codes after replacing the sensors, or did they go away by themselves? If you cleared the codes, have you driven it around since? What I'm getting at is if you clear trouble codes, but then don't drive the car, any codes that should still be there won't be until a drive cycle or two has been completed.

thanks for the response bud,

I am unable to drive the car, she will start but only move a few meters before switching of dead (cluster goes completely off, no lights on)

I have changed the cam sensor, crank sensor, coil park, leads, plugs, MAF, cleaned the TB. I am running out of ideas of what could be the problem

check your battery cables. Mine did the same it just completely died after i got a new battery. I was going down the interstate and it died. further investigation and the guy who installed it stripped out the connector on th e neg. pole. So it would just die

Sounds like you're problem is mechanical since that's where the codes are coming from. I would guess under the circumstances could be timing or rotor jump, either will usually confuse the computer and could easily drop power below running threshold
