i got a 2000 neon. in the lower gears and at lower speads when the car shifts it pulls to the side. the front passenger tire was bald so i replaced it and had an alingment done. thought that was the issue but it still pulls when it shifts. any ideas? im thinking tranny.

 

Worn transmission/engine mounts?

 

"had a bald tire and changed it" tells me you probably have two different tread heights on the front axles.

Tires should always be changed in pairs, especially on a front end of a front wheel drive car.

Swap the right and left tires on the front and I bet it pulls the other way.
