Default Code "P0456"

Hello All
I have Dodge SX2 2005 with only 120XXX km and from this morning I have received engine light and when I checked the code then it is P 0456, Please help.

Start by checking the gasket on your gas cap as well as the evap lines for cracks.

Thanks for the reply, but I am wondering that what is the procedure to checking these things, In addition, Is this safe to drive car in this situation? . Thanks

The procedure? I don't mean to sound like an *** here, but simply put: use your eyes and look. There isn't really any other way to look at something and see if it is cracked.
Yes, the car is safe to drive. It's an emissions problem, so you wouldn't pass an inspection.

Sometimes if you can't see anything wrong with the gas cap you can take the gasket and flip it upside down, it may help too.

Thanks for the reply. I opened gas cap and cleaned it and then put it back and my engine light was fixed. I really appreciate your help because without your advise I cannot fix it.
