If your worried @ all about fitment, dont. Go with 17's. Ya said you dont wanna waste your 14" tires ya just bought? well then ride em out. roll on your steelies and put some spare dollars into the rest of the car till you need to ditch these tires, then get yourself some 17's. You will then be truly big pimpin. lol. Thats the way Id throw down @ least.

there are actually a lot of 14" wheels still on market and they are not expensive at all. bigger tires are a lot pricey than
the 14's or 15's but you can always find some vendors who give a lot lesser than their original prices. check some 14's and 15's here: Dodge Wheels.

i was thinking about getting 18's for my neon but hearing all of this i guess i should just get 17's. is that the best idea? also with lowering springs that lower the car 2 inches and 17 inch rims and tires than what will the total lowering be. but for real is it a bad idea to get the 18's. thanks because i would rather hear this b4 i get the wheels than after.

 

actually sometimes you can get 17s for 70 bux a rim its not to hard to come by wheel and tire packages can be 500 dollars which if you think about it...its pretty close to that for a rim!!!!

 

I would say sell the 14 tires buy yourself some 16's or 17's. The price of 16 and 17 tires is so inexpensive anymore, as far as other sizes go. Your really gonna love the look of the car. Talk to your dad explain to him your thoughts about what you want to do and what he wants to do. Making it a bonding issue both of you get up and go to a real tire and rim shop. Or look through some mags for some ideas. What do we know though we are just trying to make your car look better.
