If you are going to replace the rims and go with aftermarket, I suggest you get either 16's or 17's. They will look much better on the car. Any reason you want 14's??

it might sound dumb but i was talking to my father n he said its better to stay with 14" cuz if i drivee with 15" the car may wobble cuz it wont fit and if i want it to fit ill have to do other work on it like to the shocks and itll just cost extra money

Absolutly not true. The only time you are gonna have any type of problem is with 18's if you go over a pretty good size bump, you'll bend the rim, and I mean you have to either be blind and miss the pothole or be driving like a total *******. And 19's are going to have fitment issues. 15's to 17's you will have no problems what so ever. I have 16's on my neon for a while now with now problems at all and the ride is great. I would have put 17's or 18's on if I didn't get the 16's for $100 for the rims and nitto tires with almost no wear. Have your father call a few places in your area and ask some questions, he will see.

It is totally up to you, but take a look at some of the neons that have bigger rims on them, they look a lot better. The neon has too much wheel gap stock. Bigger rims and tires along with lowering give it a much better look. Take a look at some of the neons in the gallery or on cardomain.com

Ah yes, the 18's, I don't have one bend or scratch in mine. And they were very easy to put on. It's not how big the rims are, it's how small the tire is. You won't feel any shaking with 16's or 17's. You won't have to get new shocks etc.... either.

I would go with 17's if I did it all over again though.

not true... they have some 14 inch wheels at discount tire direct, they are like 70 bucks a wheel. thats pretty cheap. I got a set of 16s from them a while back. no more than the 17s cost. for the most part the bigger the wheel, the bigger the price. but yes they do make 14 inch wheels, you can find them at tires.com (discount tires direct) for pretty good prices. and i think right now its free shipping. availability is going to be the main thing to look at, i doubt they stock that many wheels in this size.
