Hoping someone in this forum can help me out. Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

Had the transmission replaced a little over a month ago, and ever since there is a humming noise that increases in pitch as the car accelerates and gets lower in pitch on decel. It's always there. No change in the noise when it shifts (automatic)... As the needle moves right, the hum gets higher pitched; moves left and the pitch gets lower. Almost sounds like knobby tires on a highway...

I'm leaning towards something wheel related since its speed related.

Thoughts???

 

Are you sure that it's not your tires?
