Default Aftermarket head unit install?

We took out the stereo in our 2003 Dodge Neon R/T today, found 2 connectors in the back.
So my question is, would
this this
kit work for the install, even though there's 2 connectors?
Or, better yet, can someone give my a quick walk-through on which wires to splice to what? We've already got connectors to splice, would rather go that way, to be honest.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you have a CD changer? That'd probably be the extra connector because other than that, I can't think of what the 2nd one would be for.

LOL WE DO
I didn't even think of that.
So, that's what the smaller connector is for.
Thanks a lot. Just gotta figure which wire is which now.

Well, if you want to use it still, you have to get a head unit that has that connection. You can't just splice a wire for it (if that's what you are referring to).

Oh, no no no. We're ditching the CD changer all together. I was talking about the wires on the other connector. I think the head unit has a few more wires than it.

that connector should work, you DO know the wires ARE color coded, right?
should,SHOULD match up to the wires in the connector FROM your new headunit.
(the one you linked to plugs into the factory harness JIYDK)
they normally do have more wires, for things like power antenna, built in alarm systems, nuclear launch codes, etc.

- granted my experiences are limited to the harnesses/instructions I've gotten from crutchfield, but they have generally been just match up the colors..

Of course I know they're color coded, I meant I had to find a wiring diagram for the stock wires. Also, lol @ nuclear launch codes.

You don't need a wiring diagram. That kit you linked to on Amazon will take care of that. You wire that to the aftermarket head unit harness (those are all color coded the same) and then that plugs right into the factory harness.
