Supposedly the only problem from overfilling is the extra will leak out from somewhere not normal. Your transmission fluid was never any color but red, yeah?

Yeah. So now I'm just throwing money away. That TCS wasn't cheap, and I have no choice but to commute in my hot rod, which is costing me 35 bucks a day round trip.

I know a transmision guy, but he can't work on it til next week. He also suggested changing the fluid pump, but I do not have the ability to drop a tranny in my driveway.

Yeah it sounds like you need to dig into that trans.

That's what I was afraid of. I guess all the maintaining couldnt stop this. I was hoping for a simple fix(doesn't everybody?), because this is going to pound the bank in from every angle.

I take back what I said about not having the ability to drop a tranny in my driveway.

A friend had a wrecked 03 in his yard, so I gave up 3 bills and took the transmission.
After a couple of frustrating days trying to get my car on the 2 post at the shop, I had enough of the drama, put my car back on the trailer, and took it home. So Sunday I got the car up on 20 ton equipment stands, and did the swap. All by my lonesome I might add.

So now my car is back on the road, doing fine, and the old one will be getting worked on as a back up.

Thanks again darthroush & Moparkyle for your input.

You're welcome! Glad to hear it's up and going. Curious to hear what you find inside of the old one...

Good to hear! And I'm also curious as to what you got inside of that old trans as well.
