Default Computer Question

So I finally finished rebuilding my 2001 neon (it's all working now including new computer), but after I had first put the engine back in, I found out that the computer went out. Now this computer was maybe 3 years old, and the engine rebuilding took about 3~4 months (all while the car was sitting in the shop), so I'm just curious as to what could have possibly caused the computer to fail.

Could have been anything, to be honest.

Might have been bounced around too much during the install, static discharge at any point, or just a coincidental generic hardware failure.

Holy crap, how's it going 03neonRT? Never thought I'd see you post again! I don't get on very much since I don't have my neon anymore but last time I was on I don't think you'd logged in in quite a little while.

OP, I agree, it could have been anything mentioned, and more.

Haha, doing pretty good. Haven't had the Neon for quite a few years now, but now I'm looking to get into a 11-13 Durango, so I decided to check out the old stomping grounds.

Nice man, yeah mine spun out back in 08 so I've been rocking an 02 Taurus SES as my daily and I picked up a Trans Am last year for fun. Trying to save up some cash for a down payment on a house....been looking at some Cummin's though too haha
