I have factory 17's on my Stratus and it's got a 2-3in drop on it.....driving a lowered car isnt for everyone....and it takes some getting used to. I have driven lowriders for most of my life....and I love it...

I would suggest you test run someone's car before you get into dropping it....

You could also run 18's and say forget the drop...I've seen several Neon's with 18's on them.

There is a reason why everyone is using 17" rims. As has been stated before, 17"ers look good on your car, are safe for it, and won't screw up your fender
well when you run over some wildlife.

You still have a wheel gap with 18's. You will have problems with 18's on any '03-'05. Most 18's are too wide and you will need spacers.

17's look the best and ride better. I wish I never had gotten my 18's. I'm stuck with them for right now.

17's with 40 profile tires are what you wanna go with... no question.

I DONT THINK IT'S GOING TO MATTER WHEATHER YOU HAVE 17'S OR 18'S WHEN YOU HIT WILDLIFE. ALSO, MAY I ASK HOW 17'S ARE SAFER THAN 18'S?????

MIDNIGHTBLUENEON- YOU SAY YOU HAVE A GAP STILL WITH 18'S BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH 17'S??? I HAD 17" TENZO-R'S WITH A 40 SERIES KUMHO TIRE AND THEN SWITCHED TO AN ENKEI 18" WITH 35 SERIES HANKOOK AND FOUND THE WHEEL GAP A LOT SMALLER, IF THAT'S WHAT YOUR CONCERNED ABOUT. DOES YOUR CAR HAVE ANY SPRINGS OR COILOVERS INSTALLED??

I was being sarcastic. It will matter when you hit bumps. And your question has been answered several times.
