i have a 2002 neon with the ho engine in it. has a cracked head and possible engine damage. (thanks sis) was wondering what other dodge makes and years would be as close as possible for a straight swap.

 

2001-2001 Neon ACR or R/T. They have the same engine you have.

 

Do you know what other engine damage is present? For the cylinder head damage, is it warped, or is there other valve-train damage as well? Any cylinder head from a 2001-2004 R/T (or in the rare likelihood that you find an ACR) should be a direct swap for your 2001. If there is other engine damage....most other components will be direct swaps from that range of model years as well.
