Default Speakers

Wanting to get new speakers in my car. What does everyone recommend? Mainly want to change dash and front doors. Any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend a fortune but don't want crappy ones. So what are some good speakers at a good price? Thanks

you're looking at sony stuff (Wal-Mart) ... for that price .. Don't get me wrong I've done a car out of Wally World tunes. It was no show stopper though ... I personally prefer MTX speakers, subs and amps. Clarion head units ... but everyone has their preferrences ..

It doesn't have to be amazing but at least as good as factory. My left door and dash speaker are blown...

My old Neon had something like the 2-way Pioneers from Wal-Mart and it sounded fine. They also sell 3-way speakers IIRC. Anything half-decent is going to be better than the stock speakers. Check out reviews on Crutchfield.com. They have some awesome sales every now and then as well.

I had a Mercury topaz a few years back and the system was the Sony xplodes ... sounded better than factory ... Wal-Mart would probably be your best best then .... Subs, decks, speakers and boxes ... one stop shopping and cheap in price ...

while not exactly cheap, you could always get these:
http://www.allusasupercenter.com/Audio_s/710.htm
The Factory Upgrade to the Kicker Speakers.
priced the whole system, incl. the "custom" sub/enclosure @ $619 BEFORE shipping...Never Mind...
but could give you part Numbers/sizes to build from...
