it only does this when i start to drive, only going like at 10mph, once going at this speed it stops when I first turn on the car. it only happens when I do not use the car for a while. like a couple of hours. it seems to only happen when the engine isn't hot enough. but when it is it goes perfectly. I think this is a transmission problem. My original thought is that the fluid isn't going into the gas pedal enough. which is why I have to push on it harder to get it going.

Did the engine stall at all? Running rough, or anything like that?

Your car is supposed to shift into 2nd gear at 10 mph. When it shifts, can you feel it?

I still don't know if it's the problem with the engine, or the transmission.
It will help if you can describe things clearer.

I start the car, then i go into reverse to get out of my parking space, then I shift into drive, and then the car does not move when I press the gas pedal, so when I press the gas pedal harder, the car slams into drive and then it works fine. and then it does the same thing if I leave the car off for a couple of hours.

Sounds like a transmission problem to me.
Hard to diagnosis with out taking it out for a spin.

My car does that at random every now and then. No clue why. I'd venture to guess it's something to do with the solenoid pack, but I've got a new one as well as a TCM update. Not sure what the deal is.

alright thanks, I will check out the solenoid, and clean my transmission. I haven't cleaned it in a while. See what comes up. Thank you.
