Trying to figure out which years are interchangeable on my neon 03 se's 4 speed auto transmission. Im seeing some treads say 03 - 05. and others say only 03 Need some help please...

 

I can only tell you that the 3 speeds auto is replaced with the 4 speeds auto (41TE) on 2002-2005 Dodge Neon cars.

There maybe a few changes, and update to the PCM.
Other than that, the transmission can be mounted on your car with the same mount??? and to the engine.

 

If I have a change, I would swap from auto to manual.
More fun, and less problems.

 

2003-2005 for sure. I believe you can use the 2002 one as well. It is actually a little stronger internally than the 2003+ ones.
