From what I've read, it looks like this is only happening after the car is at normal operating temp. Checked my vacuum when the RPM's dropped and it's the same as a cold start. I put in a set of side gapped plugs I had laying around and I'll know for sure Monday if it makes any difference. Pretty sure I won't be driving very much this weekend to test my theory.

No dice with the side gapped plugs. Threw in some 93 with 3/8 tank of 87 mixed in and no change. Gonna think of something else and experiment with my car.

has anyone else tried the cam position sensor. I think I might try that before I drill the hole in the butterfly.

I have a new cam position sensor, because the original one went bad, and nothing changed.

Is there a how-to on replacing the center engine mount? I realize it won't really fix my problem, but I"m tired of having the whole car shake to death and this will at least make it more tolerable. I'm just not how much of the car I have to take apart to replace the mount. Need to decide if I want to do the work or take it to a mechanic.

Thank you.
