Im looking for a engine a srt 4 engine,trans and ecu etc to make a project out of my 2000 neon. Or the cheap way?

 

What do you mean by "or the cheap way?"
If you swap over all the SRT stuff, it'll cost about the same or less that turboing your 2.0. Do you have an auto or manual trans?

 

The cheap way is to BUY an Srt4.


In my opinion they are also more stylish too, but that's just me..

 

I was going to make the same reply earlier, but wasn't exactly sure what was meant by "the cheap way," lol.

 

Like finding an engine out of a wrecked neon or pt cruiser if i did turbo my 2.0 i know i need alot of mods done to it. I find good running srt 4 around 4g my buddy got lucky and got his around 2700. Im not sure how much to turbo my 2.0 or just get a engine from a srt 4 in some way. I talked to my friend that just got done rebuilding his srt 4 he still has his old block but........ it blew the block.

I got a manual trans the car is pushing 160000 miles already. on the same clutch.
