Aftermarket spring sets tend to solve this issue, though the rake/slope/slant of the car is indeed there on purpose. Even aftermarket springs do not fully eliminate the slope. Not all cars (and I'd imagine most) are perfectly level. There would be several reasons for this, probably mainly to do with weight distribution and handling.
I've thought of that myself, somehow lifting the front end, giving the bumper a bit more clearance...
never thought of a good old spring rubber...hrm.... may have to look into that...
