Default Rear Brake assembly

Morning,

Just got a new to us 2004.
Checking over things and wanted to know if these rear brakes appear to be put together correctly by the PO.
( Right side shown )

( nothing is leaking...the drips seen are just some lube I put on the park brake )

Thank you

No one done there own brakes?

I was mostly wondering about the bottom spring between the shoes....seems like an awkward fit.

-Yeah, it's correct. The spring goes under that flange just like you have it. When I changed the shoes on mine, I didn't do it the first time. Luckily I didn't put it back together before taking the other side apart. I saw the spring like that and had to fix it. But I've only changed the shoes on mine once. I went with Wagner Thermoquiet shoes to match the Thermoquiet ceramic pads I put on the front.

Looks good, never hurts to do a full brake bleed while you are this deep in and have it jacked up. But normally I just blow it out with compressed air or brake parts cleaner in the green can and adjust each side it to where my parking brake is nice an tight. Never hurts to have the drums turned too as this will probably be your last time to be in there
