i was just curious as to what it would take to convert a FWD to RWD or even AWD. what you would need to buy/do/install etc..

an AWD neon would be much easier than a RWD...RWD would require alot more done...

RWD requirements.
- tear off front axle
- get a new front end setup
- get a rear diff
- drive shaft
- re-mouth the engine

Now with AWD you'll have to take parts off of a DSM and you could possibly get something to work

you will need...
- transfer case
- rear transaxle

and alot of time to fab it.
