Default lighting her up

Well, I was going to get some red LED windshield washer nozzles to go on my new car, but it occurs to me, and my dad the deputy agrees, red lights visible from the front of the car are illegal in TX. The car is red and I just think blue or green would look bad. What do you think? Also, does anyone make any that are not chrome colored? I'd like black.

As far as undercar neon or LED, which is better? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I don't want crap, either.

For that matter, who has good lowering springs that aren't too spendy?

The street glow your gonna have to get a pro to install... and that aint cheap... unless your some master mechanic. The neon nozzles i dont know too much about. I never really got into that. And the lowering springs will run you some $$$$$$.

You can find some good lowering kits at any online store that sells neon parts...

www.howellautomotive.com
www.dodgeparts.com
www.modernperformance.com

just a few. As well, you can get a good set of neon's and/or L.E.D.'s from www.streetglow.com

hope that helped you out a little.

With Red cars, you are really limited with what kind of Neons you can use...... If you werent driving with your neons on....you could use Red colored ones....but I doubt thats what you want to do....

In that case...you basically stuck with white or yellow....and I would go with yellow.....only reason is shows up better....and red/yellow isnt a bad color combo...

But thats just my .02

EEWW! lol I disagree. Go with white! I personally hate the Cobra Eye (windshield washer nozzles) LED's. I think they look very tacky. But, underbody lights are OK, as long as they are done properly. And go with Street Glow...

Just got some washer lights red for my black sxt which are black instead of the clear you cant tell they are the neon ones. If Im going with under body I want uv kit. But for red I would go with yellow or white both cool with red and sweet wheels and tires I like both of your neons.

Just make a shutoff toggle switch so you can shut it off while driving and turn it on for show.

Sorry to bump a really dead thread, but another great place to buy underbody kits, and other lighting accessories is Oznium

The guy who runs it is great on shipping and if anything goes wrong with your purchase.

Also, I figure it's already too late to say this, but red with yellow lighting just looks like ketchup and mustard.

Bottom line, anything faceing front or rear that is other than amber or white, other than the tail is going to be illegal on the road in most states, put a switch in.

Please do not do the wiper nozzles. If you do though I will buy your stock ones if you don't break them taking them out.
