just bought a used 2003 SXT but missed this issue; the trunk lid seems to not fit the passenger side tightly around the tail light; is there a way to adjust the lid to fit better or does it need a new lid? it seems straight, the swinging bracket does not seem to be bent. There are 2 large bolts on the bracket against the lid and 2 funky screws (torex ?) to the side of the bracket... any help would be appreciated.

 

Mine did this after I got into a car accident with it.
