Radio connection question, '01 Neon
I have a radio from an '01 Neon. The feed connector diagram on the back shows the proper wiring connections. I do not see a connection for "memory". The four wires for power are labeled as follows: Batt.+, acc., illum, and park. Which of these wires would be used as a memory wire? I understand the "park" wire is for external DVD viewing, which I do not have. Can I leave it disconnected? Where would the other three wires be hooked to, and which would be constant and switched wires? I can't seem to retain the memory in the radio. Thanks, David.

Memory should be retained by the stereo having power. The batt.+ wire should be attached to the red power wire in the factory harness. Acc. would for something like a factory CD changer if the head unit supports it. Illumination would be the orange wire, but is generally useless with aftermarket head units. The Illum would be to make the unit dim/brighten with your interior lights.

Radio connection question...
darthroush... Thanks for your response. Would batt+ wire from the radio be a constant or switched power? Same question on the acc. wire. The unit works 100% as it should, just cannot retain memory. Unit is hard wired, due to the factory harness being badly butchered. Thanks, David.
