Window moldings/trim
I'm going to have to replace my old window moldings with new ones. I'm talking about the plastic "strips" just below the side windows on the outside of the car.
The rubber inside the trim that's in contact with the glass and keeps at least some of the water out from inside the door is in bad shape and doesn't necessarily work as it should anymore.
Any of you done this replacement yourself? I'm just thinking of ordering the parts from the U.S. and installing them myself, as they charge 100+ bucks an hour for installing them at the dealership.
The front doors can't be too hard as you can lower the windows all the way down but what about the back doors? At least in my Chrysler-badged Neon, the back windows can't be lowered all the way and so it would be a bit hard to work with the trim without removing the window first. Or do you even need to get the windows out of the way?
Hope someone knows how to do this and could provide some info! Thanks!

it wont be necessary to remove the window at all the trim should just pop off you may have to get some plastic trim tools for like $5-$15 to make it easier but you may have to remove the door panel to see if there are any screws holding it on. mine just felt like clips and the new ones should just slide right into place and be very careful not to bend them.
