Default Dodge Neon bogging out on acceleration.

I got a 2004 dodge neon that has been giving me some problems lately. I had some issues with acceleration on a highway ramp almost thought the car was going to die out like if it wasn't getting gas then out of know where it accelerated and check engine light blinked 3 times and has been on since. I took it to auto zone and see what the code was and it was cylinder #3 misfire and a random misfire, I did a tune up of course thinking it was spark plugs. After I did the tune up it drove like new but now it's back to the same thing again. Any suggestions or advice anyone thanks.

I wouldn't recommend just changing one wire. Replace your wires and your coilpack at the same time. Honestly, I just love how simple our cars ignition system is.

Same here with my Sentra. I'm planning on swapping my ignition system from COPs to a Neon coil pack and wires.

OP, change all the plug wires like has already been stated. What plugs did you put in when you swapped them out?
