So i had an idea to go to the junkyard and get a 2.0 motor to rebuild for the 01 R.T. Any tips i should know if i do this? my current motor has 157k so i was thinking it has enough life until next summer because i should be done by then. i was thinking about keeping everything the same like no boring out the head just keeping everything stock but using some new stock and aftermarket parts maybe like aftermarket cam, pistons.
