Blinker Nightmare
I blew a blinker fuse in my 2000 Neon. I replaced the fuse and the blinkers started working again except the front driver's side. I replaced the bulb, and the relay. After replacing the relay the the driver's side blinker no longer flashed at double speed but the blinker still doesn't light up. The marker light works when I turn on the headlight. Also when I turn on the hazards the relay makes a loud buzzing sound. I thought it might have been a defective relay so I replaced it again and still no luck. I found a wire that had rubbed through the insulation to the copper but it wan't burnt through. I repaired that section of wire anyway. I have traced as much of the wires as I could find and can't find any other issues in the wiring. Could it be the turn signal switch/cluster? Is there a way to test it? the rear blinker still works fine and the dash indicator blinks at normal speed. Please help and thanks in advance :/
