I replaced my head gasket and intake gaskets on my 2000 dodge neon and now have it all back together and cannot find where the opposite end of the vacuum lines connect. I know they start at back and side of engine. any help or visuals would be greatly appreciated! thanks
Ok i got the vacuum lines figured out who ever had the car before me had them disconnected....I got it running but now the timing is off i have the cam gear so the little nipple is up and cylinder 1 is up
Cylinder 1 i assume is
1 3 4 2
or am i doing something wrong its running really rough any suggestions on what to do?
It runs rough, or it idles up and down...or both? That idle problem sounds like a vacuum leak. Are there any tears in the accordion tube of the intake?
